Higher level can read damaged QR but is denser.
Consistent naming
Always use lowercase and underscores instead of spaces. Google Analytics treats 'Google' and 'google' as two different sources.
Short but clear
Campaign should be easy to read in reports. Use a scheme like 'spring2026_sale20'.
Term is for PPC only
utm_term mostly makes sense in paid keyword campaigns. For most campaigns source/medium/campaign is enough.
